Content

Over two days, participants will explore the fundamentals of VFSS, including indications, contraindications, and radiation safety. The course focuses on analysis of normal and pathological swallowing, with emphasis on identifying underlying biomechanical causes of dysfunction.

Participants will also discuss compensatory strategies, multidisciplinary decision-making, and structured reporting. Practical sessions include small-group case analysis of adult patients with dysphagia of different aetiologies.

This course does not authorise participants to perform VFSS independently.
